I bet in the right program, you could crop this (and center the car in the while doing so), and still have a good file size for 8X10s. Maybe mess with the shadows and contrast a bit (darker) and you have an awesome black and white photo! Nice Challenger! Great find!
Actually, this is exactly how it was intended to be!
Personally I really don't like photos where the object is centered. I like when people play around with perspectives and angles!
The pale colours in the photo is also intended. The "BnW Series" of mine is meant to picture old cars in what is supposed to look like old photos! To simplify a little, these photos are not meant to look crisp and clean.
Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it when other photographers actually takes their time to write a well thought out comment!
That, and the fact that all older cars have their own personality! Often the owner has put a lot of his or her time into an old car, to make it what it is. this really makes these cars so loved by their owners!
SO TRUE! i have put a lot of time and effort into my car, people just stick their nose up at it because its still rough looking. some people are such perfectionists about cars, when in the end its not about the shiney coat of custom paint, but the memories made because of the car.
